To capture the story of Copthall Estates, a modern real estate company, with a heritage dating all the way back to the 1920s.

By using traditional methods of mark making such as monograms, combined with a dynamic approach to printed collateral and digital touchpoints, Copthall Estates retains its heritage and personality in a digital age.

After experimenting with lots of potential ‘CE’ logo ideas, we decided to create a monogram, as it alludes to the idea of heritage and craft.

The final option was a result of overlapping the stencil serif typeface ‘Berlingske’ and by stripping it back and keeping the shapes simple, it instantly started to feel modern.

The full set of stationary was crafted in order to achieve a balance across each material. The letterhead for example would typically be received in an envelope, therefore the envelope could be impactful by using the monogram at scale, whilst the letterhead was kept much cleaner and more minimal.

The identity adapts and can be applied flexibly across branded materials. Here for example, details from the ‘CE’ monogram have been used to create elegant patterns that can be used on fabrics.

Similarly above, on the Copthall Estates website, subtle details like the arrow has been taken from the ‘CE’ monogram design.
