Friendships forged through miles shared

On a mission to make running more inviting, ultra endurance runner, content creator and influencer Jonny Davies approached me to help create a brand identity for his club, Scrambled Legs.

With such a brilliant name and super friendly ethos, it made sense to have some fun with the design. The look embodies the quirky personality to run 20-30k on a Saturday morning.

Believe it or not, the left hand side was the original logo presented across Strava to their 10,000+ community of runners. I loved it. It's charming and has legs...literally - which gave me the idea for the brands new direction. 

The original brief was just to create a logo, but the brand designer in me couldn’t help but start evolving a wider identity system. I pitched a few extra ideas like the suite of illustrative stickers and a logo animation combined with some video footage to announce the brand on socials. Quite quickly Jonny and I developed a super collaborate relationship centred around doing the best for the club.

Since the new branding, Scrambled Legs have started growing beyond London. In May 2024 over 40 members of the club took on the epic Copenhagen Marathon together. For this I created a bespoke CPH x SLRC sweater as well as a huge SLRC flag to cheer on all the runners.

A joy to work on from the get go and right through to club merch. Seeing the club roll out it’s new branding across their socials and brought to life with Lululemon has been a real pleasure to witness.

The result hasn’t just made myself happy, but also the SLRC community. The new look went down really well with the club and got the big thumbs up from Jonny ;)
